Leukemia is a type of blood cancer. Leukemia initiates when healthy blood cells change and grow out of control. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a cancer of the lymphocytes. The chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is categorized based on the type of cells affected such as B cells or T cells. Generally, no symptoms can be identified at an earlier stage.
