Binge eating disorder (BEG) is a medical disorder in which the individual consumes large amounts of food and is unable to control the excessive feeding. The individuals diagnosed with binge eating disorder are often overweight or obese, but can also exhibit normal weight profiles and suffer from the compulsion to binge eat.
