Cervical dysplasia is a precancerous condition which occurs due to abnormal growth of cells in and around the surface of the cervix. For instance; Nelfinavir, which is being studied by The University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, is currently in phase-2 clinical trials to check its efficacy in the treatment of cervical dysplasia.
