Small breweries also find it suitable to brew using LMEs as the purchasing cost associated with LME is less compared to the traditional brewing practices. Dry malt extract (DME) is a wort which is devoid of any moisture. Additionally, dry malt extract is easier to store compared to liquid malt extract. Due to its powder form, the product can be applied easily by food manufacturers.
