• In August 2019, Hengyi Petrochemical, a China-based manufacturer of petrochemicals, announced completion of 400 KT/year of caprolactam project. The company had invested around USD 375 million in the project and soon started the production.

• In October 2018, Highsun Group, a china based company in the petrochemical business, successfully completed the acquisition of Fibrant from DSM and CVC capital. The company was formerly owned by DSM (35% stake) and investment fund CVC Capital Partners (65% stake). The company has around 400 KT/year for caprolactam production.
