At the end of 2018, Evonik signed an agreement to acquire PeroxyChem for USD 625 million.


• October, 2019, - United Initiators, a manufacturer of range of specialty chemicals, announced the completion of sodium persulfate expansion project. The added capacity of 10 kilotons for sodium persulfate came on stream by the end of 2019. The plant is located in Huaibei, China.
