  • December 2022- NanoGraf won the U.S. government's contract to build a large-volume silicon anode manufacturing facility at the 17,000-square-foot facility in the U.S., a key component in lithium ion batteries. The facility is currently under construction and is projected to be completed by the second quarter of 2023.

  • November 2022- NanoGraf sets new industry milestones to achieve energy density lithium-ion 18650 battery at 4.0ah. This benchmark achievement significantly improves run-time across various applications, including consumer electronics, electric vehicles, medical devices, and military applications.

  • April 2020- Applied Minerals, Inc., under the trade name AMIRON, announced that the company is dedicating additional resources in its Dragon mine to commercialize silicon anode material from Halloysite clay for lithium-ion battery applications.
